Brian Blanchfield is a poet and essayist whose most recent work appears in The Nation, The Paris Review, The Brooklyn Rail, The Poetry Project Newsletter, Boston Review, Maggy, Denver Quarterly, and A Public Space. His first book of poems, Not Even Then, was published by the University of California Press. He has taught on the graduate writing faculties of University of Montana and Otis College of Art and Design, and is a poetry editor for Fence Magazine.
