C. S. Giscombe’s most recent poetry book is Prairie Style, which was awarded a 2008 American Book Award by the Before Columbus Foundation. A new book of essays—about poetry, color, geography, public transportation, etc.—titled Back Burner will be published in 2014. C. S. Giscombe teaches poetry at the University of California, Berkeley.
