He has reviewed poetry for Paper, the Village Voice, Slate, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, San Francisco Chronicle and The Nation, and has been a columnist for Fence Magazine’s Constant Critic since 2002. He was poetry editor of The Nation from 2011 to 2013. His second book is forthcoming from Aerial/Edge.
