Kate Colby is author of four books of poetry, including Beauport (Litmus Press, 2010) and The Return of the Native (Ugly Duckling Press, 2011). Fruitlands won the Norma Farber First Book Award in 2007. She currently lives and works in Providence, RI, and runs a quarterly reading series at the Gloucester Writers Center in Massachusetts.
