Marjana Krajač is a choreographer based in Zagreb, working throughout Europe with strong link to Berlin. Shifting between elaborated and quiet, singular and complex, continual and evanescent, Krajač is continuously expanding and reframing her choreographic territory. Her works are dynamically conceptually oriented with the strong urgency of a dance-as-a-dance, providing intriguing, engaging and deep choreographic landscape. Her approach to choreography is simultaneously a dance expertise, invested choreographic thinking and a deep understanding of the nature of a dance medium and how it communicates its relation to the art field in general.
