Michael Leong is Assistant Professor of English at the University at Albany, SUNY. He was a 2016 NEA Literature Translation Fellow. His most recent poetry book is Cutting Time with a Knife (2012). New critical writing is forthcoming in A Contracorriente: A Journal on Social History and Literature in Latin America.
