There it will be, looking a lot like a lake

& waving at strangers. There it will be,

looking a lot like a small cavity

in rock lined with mineral matter.

There it will be, a birdsong. A pinpoint.

Bones. The bolt. The red room.

The rushing sun. An echo. There it will be,

a photograph. An open space. A face.

There it will be balancing & waving

at strangers.
