Derick Mattern’s poems appear in The Adroit Journal, Subtropics, The Los Angeles Review, Mantis, and elsewhere. A translator of contemporary Turkish poetry, he was a 2018 NEA literary translation fellow. He is currently on the international writers track in comparative literature at Washington University in St. Louis.
