Claudia Keelan is the author of many books, including Refinery (Cleveland State Poetry Prize), Utopic (Beatrice Hawley Award, 2001) and Missing Her (2009). A verse-drama O, Heart is forthcoming from Barrow Street in the spring of 2014, as are translations Truth of My Songs: The Poems of the Trobairitz (Omnidawn Press) in 2015. She is currently finishing a book of essays entitled Ecstatic Émigré, which were written for her column in the American Poetry Review. She teaches at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she is editor of Interim.
