Michael Dickman was born in 1975 and raised in Portland, Oregon. He has written two books of poetry, The End of the West and Flies, both published by Copper Canyon Press. He is the co-author, with Matthew Dickman, of 50 American Plays, also out from Copper Canyon.
He lives in New Jersey.
