Laura Marris is a writer and translator. Her work has appeared in Asymptote, The Common, The Cortland Review, Washington Square Review, and elsewhere. She is a MacDowell Colony fellow and a semi-finalist for the 2015 Discovery Prize. She recently translated Louis Guilloux's novel Le Sang noir [Blood Dark] for the New York Review Books.
