Steven Teref’s writing appears in the collaborative fiction collection Rescription (Anobium, 2013). His translation of Ana Ristović is featured in The World Record (Bloodaxe, 2012). In addition, he is the translator of Assembly, the selected poems of Novica Tadić (Host Publications, 2009). His writing and translations have recently appeared in numerous literary magazines, notably, Artifice, South Loop Review, Conduit, and forthcoming in Tarpaulin Sky. He teaches poetry workshops and literature at Columbia College Chicago where he received an Excellence in Teaching Award.
