Evening Will Come: A Monthly Journal of Poetics (Tribute to Tomaž Šalamun—Issue 50, February 2015)

Just the Sun and You

Approach the wall.

Approach the stone.

Brush the wall and the stone with your face.

The white ball is the ball of the sun.

Friends are seen with the eyes,

which still miss them today.

We brought God on our shoulders.

Both are cut at the same level.

God shines on the earth.

You will piss on me.
