Along the way, poetic space doubles for a self in the talking cure; for totems in the life forms of art; and junk economies of sensorial overload foreshadow globalized financial collapse. I pursue poetry restless in its relation to the culture concept, and the image environment’s relation to the letter—verbal performances that are paramount for surviving the onrush of historical change.
