Christina Mengert is the author of As We Are Sung (Burning Deck, 2011), and coeditor of 12x12: Conversations in 21^st Century Poetry and Poetics (University of Iowa Press, 2009). She currently lives in upstate New York, where she writes poems and screenplays and advises for Bard College’s Prison Initiative Program.
