Ryan MacDonald is from Kansas City, Missouri. His story collection The Observable Characteristics of Organisms will be released in September 2014 from FC2. He holds the position of Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he received an MFA in English and an MFA in Studio Art.
