Anna Boschi started to study painting in the 1960s, focusing primarily on experimental media and materials. She has been exhibiting her work since 1974 and has been working exclusively as an artist since 1982. She has had over sixty personal exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows both in Italy and abroad. Her work is part of permanent gallery and museum collections around the world; it is also documented in numerous catalogs, magazines, and anthologies. Many of her international exhibitions include writing that incorporates invented or imaginary language systems. In her own work, she focuses on visual poetry, the book as object, and artistamps.
