Maria Damon is Chair of the Department of Humanities and Media Studies at Pratt Institute of Art. She previously taught poetry and poetics at the University of Minnesota. She is the author of two books of poetry scholarship, co-author (with mIEKAL aND and Jukka-Pekka Kervinen) of several books of poetry, and co-editor (with Ira Livingston) of Poetry and Cultural Studies: A Reader.
